![]() ![]() This, stand outside the thresh hold and you can literally tear the room apart with a shot gun, but the moment you cross the threshold or hit a zombie with a weapon (even one that is silent) the whole room wakes up. But yeah, the criteria for sleepers going aggro are completely borked. Obviously the entire place doesn't aggro at once, since the game is coded for that to be impossible. I grab points in the stealth damage perk without putting any points into the stealth anti-detection perk because that damage bonus is always available to you whether you took specs and gear to reduce noise/visibility or not.Īs for the OP, don't take it so literally. Sleepers in hiding don't wake until you walk over their wake threshold so you can shine a light in their face and throw rocks at them and they won't wake up, meaning the only thing determining whether or not you get the "stealth" damage bonus is whether you pressed Ctrl before firing. The thing is that you can do the same thing in full heavy armor with no points in stealth while shooting holes in the ceiling. If there werent any jump scares hardcoded into this game, it would be.well.even easier than it already is when using stealth. Zombie hiding in a closet? Just smash the closet door right in front of its face with an arrow while in stealth and you're all good. if anything stealth is broken in the other direction. Originally posted by daggaz:Lol these threads I swear. ![]() You have like 2 regen with heavy, and its the melee armor. Add in the stamina regen that you have at 9-11 a sec with light armor maxed fitings and 44out (with book). This doesn't even count for do you have self healing do you have fortbites you take 1-0 damage with any armor mix and match all you want as long as the total hits 50+. So who cares you die in light you probably would have died in heavy. Light armor is better the heavy its 10% less damage taken than heavy maxed so you get a loss of 4 more hp per hit. stealth boots are great! and mufflers do give a reduction in sound so putting mufflers on them is just even more in stead of 6% noise its -5% on boots. Light also matters if you have a light on you are now get plus 15-35 to your noise level Something tells me you are missing the mufflers for armor. You can early stealth and bow and 1 shot everything without ever being seen as long as glass or trash doesn't get touched. Even a penny per material, mmmm, tasty.Stealth is broken useful early the harder you make the game. Now if only this effort translated into actual $$, haha. Overall, a very satisfying game, like Subnautica meets Zombies Ate My Neighbors, a splash of BotW's carefully crafted world. I was tempted to continue to level 99 or level 100 but I felt a bit cheated and decided to end it for now. a let down that it's not in as an at-launch thing.Ģ25k materials, 15k zombies killed, and level 98. Still, I have a save file ready to go for when that content is added. The real disappointment, however, was my 50 hour deathless run (with four bomb-outs due to pits/turrets, but it counted) - I got the Surreal Key, but then there was nothing upon opening the door. Just, some information for anyone who was thinking to try that. I killed all zombies possible, with all rank 3 link towers. ![]()
